Mykel C. Smith Creative is a think tank for ALL things creative. Formed as a specialized boutique agency, the company merges creative ideas with business disciplines — thereby creating the perfect creative storm. MCSC is being compared to the iconic Warhol Factory in which it’s a company that works with artists for artists.

With social media at the forefront of all communication vehicles, Mykel C. Smith Creative utilizes every available outlet to provide a one-of-a-kind creative experience; thereby transforming our clients into benefactors of the arts. Owner and founder Mykel C. Smith has been in the business for 20 years as a event producer, celebrity stylist, casting director, event planner and creative director. Recently, he broadened his brand and his reputation as a “go to” creative resource, to include mentoring up-and coming creative partners.

Our services

To broaden it’s services, MCSC has partnered up with European company Brand Experience, based in a city near Amsterdam. With Patrick Edens (CEO and Art director) at the head of the company, Brand Experience offers a complete package for creating a fresh and innovative digital experience. This includes all conventional and digital expressions such as logo design, corporate identity styling, website development, e-commerce solutions, iOS / Android app, and pretty much all thinkable custom build web-based applications. Mykel and Patrick need only a few words to understand each others creative intentions and have prospered from their partnership for the last 6 years, creating stunning visuals and valuable online solutions.

MCSC has collaborated with such brands as Cedella Marley Designs, Coca Cola and most recently Handl Phone Case and luxury Shoe Brand from Hong Kong Top Owens Collection and presently is being sought after to collaborate with European Brands that need that creative punch to compete with the market that is the business model of today. As many businesses are pivoting and adjusting, MCSC will be a part of that landscape.

Creating experiences

The creative boutique takes an unconventional approach to all projects — giving each one the personalized attention it deserves. This is due in part to the vast knowledge and considerable industry resources available to Smith, and has earned him the tongue-in-cheek moniker of “creative pimp.”
Says Smith, “I just love creativity, but I realize it has to blend with the discipline of business in order to be a win-win situation.
